On April 20, Shanghai IP Court and China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee jointly convened a white paper publication and judicial protection forum on IP trials in the Free Trade Zone. Unitalen lawyers Yujing Hou and Ying Huang accompanied Mr. Jean-Guillaume Prats, CEO of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), and Ms. Ping Song, Lafite China Marketing Chief attending the event.

During the forum，Mr. Prats expressed Lafite’s appreciation to the fair and timely judgement rendered by Shanghai IP Court, and shared his reflection on Lafite’s enforcement campaign in China.

Not long ago, the trademark infringement dispute case between Chateau Lafite Rothschild vs. Shanghai Baochun Industrial Development Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Safe Logistics Supply Chains Management P.L.C., represented by Unitalen, was included in China Supreme court’s "Top 50 Typical IP Cases in 2017" and Shanghai Courts’ “Top 10 IP Cases in 2017" due to its typical significance to the judicial practice and far-reaching social impact.
